This role will assist in developing and implementing an integrated, organization-wide communications strategy to enhance reputation and advance strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, corporate communications, and digital strategy, as well as experience managing internal and external communications in collaboration with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Communications Strategy – Lead organization-wide efforts to enhance public awareness of programs, initiatives, and leadership.

Act as Spokesperson – Respond to media inquiries and cultivate strong relationships with journalists and news outlets.

Oversee Internal & External Communications – Ensure consistent messaging across reports, newsletters, fact sheets, and outreach to key stakeholders.

Lead Media & Branding Strategy – Secure media placements, manage branding, and oversee communications across digital, print, and social platforms.

Develop Digital Content & Website Management – Implement video, infographics, digital signage, and maintain an effective, user-friendly website.

Maintain Editorial Calendar & Content Planning – Coordinate messaging and promotional efforts for programs, events, and initiatives.

Supervise Communications Team – Set performance goals, delegate tasks, and ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or marketing, with a focus on public and digital communications, social media, and multimedia strategies.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.

Strong verbal, written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
