The Associate Marketing Communications Manager role works in conjunction with the Senior Marketing Manager to create and manage marketing communication and programs to support product launches, increase brand awareness, grow our physician channel business and elevate consumer experience of the EltaMD brand in the US. Employs a customer-first mentality across physical and digital channels to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and profitability. 

Develops an in-depth understanding for EltaMD across key business environments.  Drive initiatives essential to the continued growth and evolution of marketing programs and overall business.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:


Physician Channel Sales Enablement 60%

  • Develop sales and merchandising materials (including but not limited to digital, in-office/retail display, printed collateral and branded apparel)  to elevate brand, communicate product launches and  engage physician channel customers 

  • Drive and manage asset management and publishing tools that can help ensure brand consistency and provide brand guardrails 

  • Lead  targeted activations and strategies for key customers and potential customers based on segmentation analysis

  • Manage design and logistics of in-person and virtual customer events and industry conferences to provide a best-in-class  brand experience

  • Provide education to field team so they are empowered to leverage marketing support, tools and technology 

  • Collaborate with field team to develop and launch promotions to strategically drive sales 

  • Connect with the field team and customers to understand marketing needs of the channel, assess competitive activity and identify opportunities 

  • Partner with Supply Chain in managing inventory of physical collateral

 

CRM /Loyalty Program 30%

   CRM

  • Support Sr Manager in building and launching CRM program to create customer-centric, personalized CX design and targeting  to increase customer value and build brand love, retention and advocacy 

  • Work closely with digital marketing team to align on personalization and consumer journey mapping to enhance the customer experience and improve campaign strategies 

  • Monitor relationships with existing customers through CRM systems and implement digital  marketing techniques that will drive new customers and acquisition of 1st party data 

   Loyalty Program

  • Support Sr. Manager in developing and  launching a consumer(b2c) loyalty program and evolving the existing customer (b2b) loyalty program

  • Own the end-end loyalty customer experience in consumer and professional channels and champion what great customer experiences look like.

  • Launch brand ambassador program for dermatologist residents to amplify sampling and build brand love 

  •  Create and test rewards across multiple retention channels to create offerings that drive new product adoption, build sustained brand loyalty and engage customers in our mission.

 

 

Research, Analytics and Audience Segmentation (10%)

  • Support the development of audience segmentation strategy and lifetime value of B2B and B2C customers 

  • Track and measure email communication KPIs to evaluate and improve on the results of all campaigns with a test/learn agenda 

  • Oversee the unification of disparate sets of customer data into a master view of every customer.

  •  Developing the 360-degree view of the customer that paves the way for measuring customer satisfaction across all touchpoints along the customer journey.

Education/ Experience Requirements
Basic qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing or related field with 5+ years of work experience.

 

Preferred qualifications include: MBA, CPG experience is a plus.

  • Proven track record in a marketing role developing creative assets, tools and programs and managing projects from brief to execution
  • Experience with CRM, customer acquisition, conversion and loyalty marketing
  • Work with cross-functional teams and manage simultaneous projects and needs, wearing multiple hats in a growing team
  • Strong initiative and results oriented
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and thrive
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, particularly with diverse cultures
  • Thrives on digital innovation and evaluating trends in a changing landscape

 

Experience with below is a PLUS

  • Proficiency using marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
  • Experience with email automation, triggers, and deployment
  • Demonstrated ability with data management including audience analysis and segmentation, data capture
  • Experience with A/B testing tools, continuous improvement and optimization
