Project Timeline:

  • 5-6 months temporary engagement.

Location Requirements:

  • Remote work is acceptable. Occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Proposal Requirements:

  • Resume of proposed service provider candidates and associated pricing including hourly rates. Must be available for phone interview as well as video conference.

Change Management:

  • Any changes requested after the start of the project will require written consent of Electrify America and may result in a revised project schedule and fee/pricing schedule.

Project Summary\: 

Electrify America, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group of America, is seeking a temporary Specialist in Marketing and Corporate Communications to support strategic marketing initiatives and internal/external communications. This role will contribute to enhancing brand awareness, employee engagement, and public relations efforts across B2B and B2C channels.

Role Summary:

The Specialist will be responsible for developing persuasive marketing copy, managing Electrify America’s thought leadership efforts, and supporting public relations efforts. The role includes collaboration with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication strategies. This is a temporary engagement for a duration of 5 months, with the option to extend if needed.

Role Responsibilities:

50% Marketing Copywriting:

  • Develop compelling content for websites, emails, social media, and other marketing channels

  • Collaborate with designers to produce creative assets aligned with campaign briefs

  • Maintain brand style guide and ensure consistency across platforms

  • Manage and update the Legal Disclaimers library

50% Corporate Communications and Thought Leadership:

  • Create and manage internal communications per submitted briefs

  • Highlight company milestones and support leadership messaging

  • Manage Thought Leadership monthly meetings

  • Review reactive speaker, event, sponsorship, and award opportunities

  • Suggest proactive speaker, event, and award opportunities

  • Prepare submissions for events, speaker opportunities, and award opportunities

  • Coordinate speaker opportunities and PR messaging

  • Promote company achievements and manage reactive media statements
