Physical Demands
Primarily sedentary work that takes place in both an office environment and in on-campus buildings; will require ability to traverse throughout campus. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and by writing. Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must be able to read review documents on or off a computer screen or other electronic device, hear and respond to phones and or walk-in customers, use fine motor skills for a keyboard. At events there is some need to set up and take down light materials such as literature, signs, etc. Some evening and occasional weekend hours required for special events and to meet special project deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree Experience: A minimum of three years experience in providing operations, event, communications, budgetary, and/or administrative support in a complex and dynamic environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proven knowledge of budget and fiscal management. Highly professional with excellent interpersonal skills and the essential ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy. Excellent command of English (verbal, written, and oral). Self-motivated, self-disciplined, possesses a strong work ethic, and capable in establishing priorities in an executive setting. Demonstrated ability to work independently, yet an effective participant in a team environment. Detailed-oriented, including excellent follow-through skills. Capable of balancing multiple projects in stressful situations while meeting deadlines, achieving desired results, and maintaining positive relations. Understanding of the importance of confidentiality of data and information. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (in order to prepare professional presentations, documents, and spreadsheets) to include Adobe and PowerPoint. Advanced skills in Google Workspace.
