We are looking for a Customer Project Manager in Networking and Communications product area, to to lead assigned customer projects securing that project goals are met, customer’s expectations are fulfilled and that the customer relation is handled in the best possible way within the scope of the contract. 

 

The job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Build and Maintain relationship with key OEM and hyperscale customers to engage early design in jobs.
  • Handle customer and partner engagement: manage customer relationship building confidence and trust, ensure project progress arranging meetings and customer events
  • Professional program and business management with global view, deep understanding North America, Chinese and Thailand culture and business manner
  • Collaborating cross-functional operations teams, including Design team, sales team, Operations Engineering, Commodity Management, Supply Chain, Quality and Materials teams to manage the design programs successfully.
  • Define project scope, secure the necessary resources and plans and monitor all activities
  • Drive project execution: track project activities, monitor and handle changes, conflicts and critical issues
  • Closely with Design Engineering and Operations Technical Teams in Asia to follow project status and drive program risks.
  • Work with customer to understand customer needs and to probe for answers, to determine a solution and advocate that solution to the customer. 
  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders and make sure all deliverables are met.
  • Manage the transition of products from the prototype to the production phase.
  • Clearly present project status in formal reviews and to customers, with appropriate detail of understanding
  • Capacity to identify risks and raise issues to relevant stakeholders
  • Support Sales, Engineering and Procurement on customer related issues.
  • Participate in whitebox roadmap defintion
  • Multi-task and goal-oriented with a strong sense of initiative in tackling tasks

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or MBA
  • PMP certification a plus
  • 7+ year experience working in the Networking/Server/Storage or IT related business preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office required, proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, and effective presentation skills.
  • A self-starter and strategic thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create positive relationships with internal and external team members
  • Self-driven and results oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and to maintain deadlines
  • Quick learner and flexible to adopt company working culture and processes
  • Ability to travel for business upto 25%
  • Additional language skills, particularly Mandarin, is a plus
