This is a remote position.

Superlanet is seeking an Epic Change Management and Communication Lead for our healthcare client in Texas. This is a direct hire, primarily remote position with occasional onsite travel required.

The Epic Change Management and Communication Lead will serve as the lead change enabler for the Epic implementation, responsible for driving user adoption, minimizing resistance, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the project. This individual will develop and execute change management and communication strategies that align with organizational goals, supporting a successful Epic implementation with minimal disruption.

Key Responsibilities

Change Management / Communication Planning & Execution

  • Design and implement change management strategies that maximize adoption and minimize resistance.

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and on-time deliverables.

  • Lead and coordinate user adoption efforts, working closely with training staff and project team members.

  • Develop change management and communication plans aligned with implementation phases and scope.

Change Management Process

  • Apply structured methodologies to drive change management activities.

  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.

  • Provide input and requirements for training design and delivery.

  • Complete change management assessments and risk mitigation plans.

  • Integrate change management activities into project plans.

  • Evaluate and ensure end-user readiness across all roles.

Communications

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for all Epic implementation phases.

  • Deliver clear and consistent messaging across channels (email, intranet, town halls, etc.).

  • Collaborate with leadership, department heads, and super users to cascade messages.

  • Create and manage feedback loops (surveys, focus groups) to measure readiness and adapt plans.

  • Support training initiatives by promoting schedules and reinforcing readiness expectations.

  • Coordinate go-live and post-go-live communications, including updates, success stories, and stabilization progress.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on change management best practices.

  • Provide ongoing support for upgrades, releases, and issue resolution per ITIL processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health, science, business, or related field; or 5+ years equivalent professional experience in clinical, ancillary, or business environments.

  • Strong knowledge of clinical information systems, clinical informatics, and data management.

  • Experience in large-scale healthcare information systems implementation, development, and support.

  • Demonstrated experience working with clinicians in support and/or educational roles.

  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in team environments.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of clinical information systems experience (Epic preferred).

  • Significant role in a prior Epic configuration and implementation.

  • Ability to advise senior leadership on system functionality and performance.

  • ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.

  • Active Epic Certification, Accreditation, or Proficiency preferred.
