Description

Government Affairs Analyst *Remote* Candidates residing in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California, Texas or New Mexico are encouraged to apply. 

The Government Affairs Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution of state and federal advocacy programs for Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH) and its affiliates. This includes identifying, communicating with, and coordinating between external associations and internal engagement partners; managing systems and structures of the Government and Public Affairs team, and analyzing public policy issues to identify and communicate their specific impact on Providence Health and Service ministries and affiliates. This position will also engage in communications and counsel with internal/external audiences on priority policy issues consistent with PSJH strategic direction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Public Policy, Law, Political Science, Business, Communications, Government, or Health Administration.
  • 3 years Work experience in legislative or regulatory activities, health administration or legal research; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with governmental processes and governmental relations.
