The Communications Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the GBS Shared Services Costa Rica site and contributing to the development of our organization. You will drive communications activities targeting close to 1,000 colleagues, fostering engagement, and ensuring alignment with our core values.

Responsibilities:

• Internal Campaigns Implementation: Own the execution of internal campaigns, such as the Site Story Implementation and Office Evolution Improvement, to nurture a strong internal community.
• Content Design: Build compelling content, including Mission Stories and Business Content, that resonates with our audience and reflects our values.
• Global Messaging Site Cascade: Develop and cascade a global story communications plan, ensuring consistent messaging across the site.
• Video Production Concept: Develop and lead video production concepts that optimally communicate key messages and improve our internal storytelling.
• Lead all aspects of implementing and measuring metrics to evaluate the efficiency of communications strategies and initiatives.
• Site Forums Implementation: Coordinate and implement site forums to ensure cohesive communication and alignment across teams.
• External Partnership Relations: Support the development and maintenance of external partnership communications that align with our strategic goals.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in communication, Marketing, PR, Media, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Validated Experience: Known to work in handling communications activities within a business environment, preferably in a global company.
• Communication Skills: Remarkable ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and efficiently in English, both written and spoken.
• Technological Proficiency: Experience with social media platforms, intranet content development, and other communication technologies.
• Project management skills: Ability to lead multiple programs and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Stakeholder managment skills: ability to liaison and collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Digital Literacy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Canva, and other relevant tools.
• Personal Integrity: Demonstrates high personal integrity and can work independently while taking initiative as a great teammate.
• Strong Problem-Solving Abilities: Resourceful and adept at handling pressure.
• Articulation and Persuasion: Highly eloquent, confident, and persuasive, with the ability to influence and engage others.
