About Capital Good Fund
Capital Good Fund (“Good Fund”) is a nonprofit, U.S. Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution headquartered in Providence, RI. Founded in 2009, our mission is to create pathways out of poverty and advance a green economy through inclusive financial services. Good Fund employees are committed to using financial services to transform the lives of those we serve.
Summary
Capital Good Fund is seeking self-motivated individuals to support our Investor Relations department as the department and organization continue to grow. The Investor Relations department is responsible for stewarding relationships with funders, in particular investors, in all aspects of engagement from initial interest to investment. Good Fund funds its operations in three ways: loans to its loan fund, out of which it makes loans to its borrowers; loans in the form of “growth capital” to be used for operational expenses associated with scaling; and traditional philanthropic giving in the form of grants and donations. The role of the Investor Relations Associate is to work with Good Fund’s Director of Investments and SVP of Investor Relations to support in the administration of investment capital from banks, credit unions, community and family foundations, Registered Investment Advisors (and their clients), and high-net-worth individuals. Specifically, they will support in managing documentation related to relationship management and back-end tracking and processing of these investments, ensuring smooth internal operations across the department, as well as support with the department’s special projects as needed.
