The Opportunity

We are seeking a forward-thinking Investor Relations Manager to evolve our shareholder engagement strategy. You will be responsible for crafting a compelling corporate narrative, creating high-impact digital content, and deepening our relationships with the investment community. Critically, you will champion the use of emerging technologies, including AI agents and automated workflows, to modernize our processes and unlock new levels of insight and efficiency.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Content & Narrative Development

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our corporate objectives and resonates with retail and institutional investors.

  • Craft compelling narratives and create high-impact presentation materials, messaging documents, and monthly corporate updates.

  • Oversee the entire content production lifecycle, from social media calendars and video production to website updates and photography.

  • Ensure our digital presence, especially the corporate website, is a dynamic, accurate, and engaging resource for all stakeholders.

2. Shareholder & Investor Engagement

  • Serve as a key point of contact for the investment community, responding to retail and institutional inquiries with timely and insightful information.

  • Lead the end-to-end process for corporate news dissemination, including drafting, editing, and managing the review process with senior management and legal counsel for all press releases, ensuring accurate, compliant, and impactful communication with the market.

  • Manage our Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, transforming data into actionable intelligence on shareholder trends, peer ownership, and marketing effectiveness.

  • Coordinate our presence at virtual and in-person roadshows, investor events, and trade conferences to maximize our reach and impact.

  • Support the senior management team in preparing for presentations to shareholders, analysts, and the broader financial community.

3. Modernizing IR with Technology & Automation

  • Pioneer the use of AI-driven tools and agentic workflows to automate routine tasks, unlock deeper shareholder insights, and personalize investor communications.

  • Develop and implement intelligent automation solutions to track market sentiment, analyze peer performance, and streamline the dissemination of information.

  • Stay at the forefront of technology in investor relations, continuously identifying and evaluating new software and platforms to enhance our capabilities.

4. Market Intelligence and Industry Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of industry dynamics, competitor performance, and market trends using financial data platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ).

  • Monitor and report on peer company activities, analyst reports, and shifts in investor sentiment to inform our strategic messaging and positioning.

  • Track key commodity markets (copper, gold) and macroeconomic indicators, translating data into concise, actionable intelligence for the senior leadership team.

  • Cultivate relationships with key media contacts and identify new-generation platforms to ensure our corporate narrative reaches a diverse and evolving investor audience.



Requirements

What You Bring: Qualifications & Experience

  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in investor relations, corporate communications, or marketing, preferably within a publicly traded company.

  • Demonstrated experience or a strong aptitude for leveraging emerging technologies, such as AI agents and automation software, to streamline workflows and enhance data analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for crafting presentations and analyzing data.

  • Working knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite) and financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ).

  • Experience in the mining or natural resource sector is a significant asset but not required.
