Location: Hastings, with the flexibility to WFH 1-2 days per week

 

About The Role

As Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to implement local, regional and national marketing activities and promotions for TotalEnergies NZ. Your creativity and organizational skills will be key as you coordinate everything from innovative promotional campaigns to large-scale events that showcase our brand’s mission and values.

 

In this role, you would have the opportunity to:

  • Manage TENZ’ online and social media presence through multiple platforms (including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram & Twitter/X) with a focus on growth and engagement.
  • Design and develop creative materials for TENZ (including media bookings, brochures, & sponsorship collateral), in alignment with overall business activity.
  • Enhance the quantity and quality of TENZ’ website traffic through effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Manage local & regional sponsorship requests, in line with budgetary and strategic requirements, and implement as needed.
  • Coordinate national signage and label requests, ensuring products are ordered and delivered efficiently and within agreed parameters.
  • Be the primary point of contact for day-to-day marketing requests across the organization.
  • Produce clear, fit-for-purpose communications and newsletters for internal and external audiences.

About You

To be successful in this role you will be an organised and proactive team player. You will also be adaptable and enjoy a diverse range of tasks, as no two days will be the same. While this is an entry-level position, any previous experience in a marketing or communications role will be advantageous, as will a working knowledge of media and digital tools.

In addition to this, we are looking for a candidate with:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven computer literacy in Microsoft Office products, with any experience in the Adobe Creative Suite being beneficial.
  • Strong creative flair, with the ability to design marketing materials and imagery.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, flexibility and resourcefulness.
  • A forward-thinking mindset that embraces continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Alignment with TotalEnergies’ pillars of being smart, inclusive and courageous.
