Title: Marketing & Communications Specialist
Location: Remote (candidates should be based in Latin America or South Africa)
Compensation: $1,500/month
Hours: 8am - 4pm EST

Overview:
The Marketing & Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to grow The Company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow The Companies social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and LinkedIn
- Create engaging content including, videos, graphics, email newsletters, and other digital assets to attract and nurture leads
- Engage with audience members across platforms
- Optimize the company website and landing pages to improve conversion rates
- Implement lead generation tactics such as lead magnets and email marketing campaigns and drip campaigns
- Analyze marketing performance data and make data-driven recommendations to improve results
- Collaborate closely with the owner to ensure messaging and branding align with the company's vision and values
- Handle light administrative tasks as needed, such as sending invoices or scheduling appointments
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar marketing role, preferably for a small business or startup
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities

- Experience creating content calendars
- Proficiency with content creation tools such as Canva, video editing software, and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
- Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) best practices

- Proficiency in Meta Business Suite and Instagram (LinkedIn and Youtube is a plus) and messaging platforms such as ManyChat

- Familiarity with website management in a CMS such as WIX

- Familiarity with social media and google search advertising is a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Background in education or special needs advocacy is a plus
