marketing plan, overseeing social media campaigns, and leading a team to
effectively communicate the mission and goals of the event to the broader
community.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Marketing Strategy:** Review the current marketing plan to promote the Basket Brigade event, leveraging both
traditional and digital marketing channels.
- **Social Media Management:** Oversee the creation,
scheduling, and posting of content across all social media platforms, ensuring
consistent messaging and branding.
- **Team Leadership:** Lead and manage a team of
volunteers, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure the successful
execution of marketing and social media initiatives.
- **Content Creation:** Collaborate with the team to
generate engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that

- **Community Engagement:** Build and maintain
relationships with local media, influencers, and community organizations to
amplify the event's reach and impact.
- **Analytics & Reporting:** Monitor the performance
of marketing and social media activities, using analytics to adjust strategies
as needed and reporting outcomes to the leadership team and in line with priorities, such as recruiting volunteers or highlighting fundraising appeals.
