JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The McCourtney Institute for Democracy in the College of the Liberal Arts is seeking applicants for part-time marketing support for the Institute and The Democracy Group podcast network
Job duties to include:
Produce and publish a bi-weekly email newsletter
Create and share content for social media platforms
Collaborate and coordinate with network members on communications projects
Engage partner organizations to broaden the reach of the McCourtney Institute and The Democracy Group
Support The Democracy Group's student podcast fellows as needed
Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
Preferred experience with email newsletter and social media content
Community-focused individual who loves engaging others online in civic topics
Ability to work remotely and collaboratively with multiple parties
Exceptional writing, communication, and research skills
Self - motivated, proactive, problem solver who needs minimal direction
A goal-oriented individual who approaches projects with a positive, inquisitive mindset
A desire to learn new digital media and marketing skills
Compensation:
The compensation for this job is $18 per hour.
