In this role, you will be at the forefront of engaging with government stakeholders in India, driving the organization's policy and regulatory interests. Your expertise will help in fostering strong relationships with government entities to support strategic growth and compliance in a rapidly changing public policy landscape. Accountabilities
- Lead engagement with key government stakeholders and regulatory bodies in India.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with ministries and state governments.
- Identify and execute strategies for government engagement that support business growth.
- Advise on compliance with evolving policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business objectives.
- Provide regular briefings and updates to company executives on policy developments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs.
- Proven experience in engaging with Indian government ministries and regulatory bodies.
- Solid understanding of India's policy environment, including AI, cybersecurity, and digital communications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work across diverse teams and manage communications with executives.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in relevant fields is preferred.
- High emotional intelligence and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
