This role offers a unique opportunity to lead product communications for a fast-growing digital platform, shaping how users, media, and internal teams experience new features and innovations. The Senior Manager will translate complex product concepts into clear, engaging narratives, working closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Design, Marketing, and PR. You will guide go-to-market messaging, develop content for multiple channels, and ensure alignment across the organization. This role is ideal for a strategic storyteller with a passion for technology, consumer experiences, and fast-paced, high-growth environments. Your work will directly influence customer engagement, brand perception, and product adoption.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Manager, Product Communications will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing product-focused communication strategies for new features, product launches, and platform innovations.
  • Translating complex product concepts into digestible messaging for users, press, and internal stakeholders.
  • Partnering with Product, Marketing, and Design to align messaging across all owned and earned channels.
  • Creating product-related content, including press releases, blog posts, FAQs, talking points, and internal communications.
  • Collaborating with the PR team to support proactive media outreach and reactive press strategies related to product initiatives.
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor messaging to ensure differentiation and competitive advantage.
  • Advising cross-functional teams on communications strategy to maintain message clarity and consistency.


Requirements

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in product storytelling, with deep familiarity with product launch cycles and go-to-market planning.
  • Strong background in media relations or experience working directly with reporters on product stories.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, able to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives.
  • Proven experience collaborating with Product, Design, and Marketing teams in high-growth environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines with precision.
  • Passion for innovation and comfort working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving industry.
  • Experience in tech, gaming, fantasy sports, or consumer mobile apps is highly desirable.
  • Robust network of product-focused media contacts is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
