Job Description:
The Communications Director will report to OneOncology’s Sr. Director, Marketing. This role will will work on OneOncology’s marketing/communications team, leading and supporting the development, implementation, and oversight of internal and external communications strategies for OneOncology, which is a Management Service Organization (MSO) that helps its practice partners achieve their goals.
This role is responsible for working collaboratively under direction of our Publicist, to:
Shape and protect the organization’s brand and culture.
Write and edit internal communications on behalf of executive leaders, skillfully capturing their unique voice, tone, and intent to ensure authenticity and alignment with their leadership style.
Ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Support business objectives through effective communication with physicians, executives, staff, press and the media, and social media platforms.
Support partner practices’ engagement with the press when they are interested.
Create on-message content consistently that promotes OneOncology.
Collaborate across the organization and with executive leadership, working closely with Human Resources, operations, and compliance leaders to advance organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Strategic Communications
Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with OO’s mission and growth goals.
Partner with OO’s publicist, marketing team, and senior leadership to support organizational priorities, business development and physician engagement.
Create and execute an executive communications strategy and (CEO messages, CHRO messages, assist with annual report writing, and company events).
Develop content for websites, newsletters, press releases, annual reports, social media, and marketing collateral.
Internal Communications
Establish clear, engaging channels for communication with employees, clinicians, and staff across multiple markets and practices.
Drive initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, and alignment with corporate values.
Support change management communications during integrations, partnerships, or operational transformations.
Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies.
Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
8–10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, preferably within healthcare, managed care, or related regulated industries.
Proven track record in internal and external communications, media relations, crisis management, and executive counsel.
Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, including MSO operations, and regulatory frameworks.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex organization.
Experience leading teams and cross-functional projects
