The Opportunity:

The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing internal communications strategies. This role will focus on creating, managing and delivering internal communications to ensure that employees have the necessary information they need to be successful and engaged in their roles. The Internal Communications Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, such as Human Resources, IT, Compliance and Cybersecurity, to develop effective internal communications plans and campaigns.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Internal Communications Director.

  • Strategy Development: Create and execute innovative communication strategies and tactics to introduce new programs, processes and information, to drive employee engagement and business results.
  • Communication Advisor and Partner: Serve as a strategic advisor to various teams — primarily focused on HR — to provide communication expertise and support for a variety of initiatives.
  • Content Creation: Create, edit and manage high-quality, high-impact content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, presentations and social media. Ensure messaging is clear, engaging and tailored to the audience (e.g., leadership, global associates, etc.) and reflects Ensemble’s mission, principles, O.N.E. Purpose and goals
  • Change management: Support various change management initiatives, ensuring clear, consistent and effective messaging during organizational changes.
  • Leadership Communication: Serve as a key team member in the planning and execution of leadership meetings and events, including quarterly town halls, ensuring messaging consistency and clarity across all levels of the organization.
  • Measurement and Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and channels, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Build connections across the business to understand different audience segments and ensure communications resonate based on preferences, nuances and access.
  • Travel required up to 10%

Skills and qualifications for success:

  • BA/BS
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with content creation and delivery (i.e. email, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed, and global organization
  • Ability to advise and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams
