Position: Marketing and Communications Manager

The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for creating and executing strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, drive lead generation, and maintain a consistent and engaging presence across digital platforms. This role plays a critical part in audience engagement, campaign performance, and thought leadership—particularly through book writing and publishing support that strengthens brand authority and market reach.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Campaign Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with company goals.
Execute lead generation campaigns across digital platforms to attract and convert leads.
Track and report on key marketing metrics and campaign performance.
Content Creation and Management
Create high-quality marketing content for email, social media, blogs, landing pages, and other assets.
Oversee content calendars to ensure timely and consistent messaging.
Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, voice, and strategy.
Email Marketing and CRM Management
Design and manage automated email marketing sequences to nurture prospects and clients.
Maintain CRM accuracy and leverage segmentation to personalise campaigns.
Monitor campaign engagement and implement A/B testing to optimise results.
Social Media and Digital Engagement
Plan and publish engaging content across key social media platforms.
Monitor performance, engage with audiences, and implement strategies to grow followers and reach.
Explore emerging platforms and trends to keep the brand relevant.
Web Presence and SEO
Manage and update the company website with SEO-optimised content.
Collaborate with developers/designers to improve user experience and lead conversion.
Track website performance and implement improvements based on analytics.
Book Writing and Publishing Support
Support the development of business-related books, including research, structuring, editing, and drafting content.
Collaborate with senior leadership or authors to align book content with brand messaging and strategy.
Coordinate timelines, designers, editors, and publishing partners.
Develop and implement marketing campaigns to launch and promote books across multiple platforms.
Repurpose book content into lead magnets, blogs, social media posts, and videos.
Collaboration and Reporting
Provide regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and strategy refinement.
Attend and contribute to team meetings, marketing reviews, and planning sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.
Strong writing and editing skills, especially in long-form content such as books and whitepapers.
Proficiency in CRM systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.
Experience with HighLevel and or Active Campaign?
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal communication skills.
