The Los Angeles Chargers are looking for seasonal assistants for the communications department. The full-season position will run from May 2025 through the end of the season. The full-season position will provide experience in the communications department where the candidates will learn football and marketing communication skills.

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
  • Assist with all daily needs of the communications department, including daily clips, transcriptions, media monitoring and administrative tasks.Β 
  • Help manage Chargers media prior to and during daily practice, including open locker room.
  • Contribute to portions of the football communications weekly release and flip card.
  • Research notes and statistics for football communications.
  • Assist the communications department with the credentialing process via Accredit.
  • Work closely with marketing communications staff to host special guests and track social engagement and impressions of those attendees.
  • Contribute to communications efforts surrounding additional events, including planning and execution.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Full-season candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Ability to work 40-plus hours per week in office, including all Chargers home games.
  • Prior communication experience such as daily clips, transcription, etc., is a plus.
  • Possess strong written and organizational skills, along with a keen attention to detail.
  • Always exhibit a professional attitude and work well in a team environment.

Applicant must:
  • Have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Have a current driver’s license


This position will pay $17.50 an hour.Β

Seasonal employees are responsible for their own housing, travel, and relocation expenses. A background check will be conducted prior to starting work with us.
