Domestic Considerations: Requirement to complete occasional week-long duties as silent hours point of contact for Army Comms. Flexible working viable. Position Role: Support the SO1 Internal Comms, liasing with key stakeholders across the Army and MOD to plan, develop and and deliver effective, focused, and relevant internal communications to the Army. Responsibilities: 1. Support SO1 Internal Comms in drafting, developing and maintaining the Army’s internal comms strategy. 2. In accordance with Government Communicatiojns Service doctrine (the Modern Communications Operating Model), support Dir C&E in the delivery of Internal Audience behavioural change through targeted and measured campaigns. 3. Ensure that internal communications activities are aligned with and support wider Defence and Army strategies. 4. Manage internal digital channels to promote appropriate messages to the internal audience, including publishing on Defence Connect and DEFNET. 5. Act as Producer for each edition of “5 Minutes With”. 6. Support Soldier Magazine by identifying stories, reviewing articles for publication and staffing “Talkback” letters. 7. Collaborate with CGS’s Briefing Team to gain better insight and more accurate data for more effective internal communications. 8. As required, stand in for SO1 Internal Comms. |
