About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media & Communications Director to lead and elevate the voice of our social clubs across all platforms. This person will own our digital presence, manage club-wide messaging, and serve as both a creative engine and a strategic partner. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on both the creative and operational sides of communications, someone who is not only an expert in social media but can also empower our team to tell the clubβs story with consistency, quality, and authenticity.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute a cohesive social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and emerging platforms
- Write, edit, and schedule engaging content (captions, reels, posts, stories) aligned with our brand voice
- Manage all inbound messages, comments, and DMs across social platforms with timely, thoughtful responses
- Track social performance metrics and translate them into actionable insights
- Train and support in-house teams (across our clubs/houses) on capturing high-quality, on-brand content
- Oversee systems for collecting, organizing, and repurposing content from multiple club locations
- Clip, edit, and prepare short-form video content for reels and stories
- Write engaging, high-converting copy for social posts, email newsletters, and landing pages
- Lead HubSpot email marketing strategy and execution, including member communications and promotional campaigns
- Collaborate with Directors of Operations (DOs) and Operating Company leadership to communicate club-wide updates, policy changes, and special initiatives
- Serve as the primary liaison for press and media inquiries
- Be a thought partner and idea generator for content campaigns, seasonal promotions, and viral social media moments
- Maintain brand consistency across all written and visual communications
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align messaging with business goals and member experience
Requirements
- 5-7 years of related experience in social media/organic social, with a proven track record of driving tangible audience growth.
- You have a deep understanding of what makes an effective content hook, how to tell compelling stories, and how to tailor these elements for various social channels.
- You have established success scaling social media accounts, evidenced by provable metrics in follower increases, heightened engagement, and measurable conversions or revenue impacts.
- You excel at guiding teams, providing clear feedback, and fostering an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Youβre intimately familiar with the tools and workflows behind content production and scheduling, ensuring efficient, on-time delivery without compromising quality.
- You stay current with platform evolutions, algorithmic changes, and cultural trends, proactively adjusting your content strategy to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
- You have a sharp editorial eye and impeccable sense of taste, ensuring that all visual, auditory, and narrative elements align with brand standards and resonate with audiences.
- Your ability to conduct in-depth platform analyses guides your strategic decisions, ensuring that your content plans are always informed by data and industry insights.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must travel to other locations as needed.
