Who We Need

Sabel is seeking a teammate to participate in our growth by supporting our communications and product development teams.  You will have a great opportunity to apply your skills, expertise, and collaborative nature to develop internal and external information sets on a variety of topics for different applications.    This is not the job for someone who wants to work on one type of information package. 

What You’ll Do

You will work across the spectrum of Sabel’s communication needs including: 

  • Policy and process documents/instructions 

  • Newsletters and business reports 

  • Technical Manuals 

  • Sales and Marketing Information Packages 

  • Solution Playbooks and Operations Guides 

  • Web site and conference brochure copy 

  • White papers, blogs, and other thought pieces 

  • Proposal, requests for information responses, and clarifications   

To excel at this position, you will need several strengths over and above robust technical and business writing skills using a variety of technologies and delivery channels.  These include:  

  • Researching and developing content 

  • Cleaning up and simplifying content drafting by technical and business area subject matter experts 

  • Setting standards for contributors to simplify and accelerate content development 

  • Coaching and mentoring content developers on how to produce better drafts 

  • Performing due diligence on AI generated content  

  • Negotiating priorities with stakeholders 

  • Setting and managing expectations with stakeholders 

  • Being flexible with changing priorities and keeping stakeholders in the loop about the impacts

Qualifications

Job Qualifications 

Required Qualifications    

  • Proven experience in both technical writing and corporate/internal communications. 

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Ability to collaborate with technical experts and distill complex information into accessible content. 

  • Skilled in digital tools for documentation and communication (e.g., MS Office, Adobe, Web/Social content tools). 

  • Working with and across content management solutions (SharePoint, Confluence, Teams, etc.)  

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities with attention to detail and deadlines. 

  • Self-starter with the ability to own projects from strategy through execution. 

Preferred Qualifications            

  • Experience with multimedia content creation (graphics, video, motion, etc.). 

  • Background supporting technology or engineering-driven organizations. 

  • Familiarity with change management communications or employee engagement campaigns.

Salary and Benefits

The range for this position is between $XXXXX and $XXXXX. Actual salary will be negotiated with this position’s Hiring Manager and can vary depending on the following factors: Billable contract and labor category, experience, skills, education /certifications/ licenses & geographic location.
